Spend some time looking at the work of famous photographers - we will have an assignment in a few weeks in which you research and write summaries on 20 photographers. You will then narrow down your research to just one photographer, whose work you will emulate. I would suggest starting to keep a journal of the photographers whose work you come across and find of interest.
